For the last three weeks, Bishop Thomas has been preaching from Nehemiah 4:1-6 with an emphasis on the end of verse 6 "for the people had a mind to work."
In the series titled "Willing Workers" Bishop explains how God chooses to accomplish His purposes through people who are willing to work.
Here are some of my notes from the series:
- Nehemiah and the Jews worked together.
- Everybody is not going to like you. Especially when you represent Christ and living to do God's work.
- Rebuilding the wall required persistence, commitment, and dedication. Will you stay committed when results aren't immediate?
- The enemy calls the Jews "feeble" in verse 2. But, God has not given His people a spirit of fear, but power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). You have decide whose word you will believe. Daily.
